Build your future with usOur IT Claims department is seeking an experienced IT Architect.

Starting Pay: The pay range for this position is $105,000 - $170,000 annually. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

Be ready to: - help define/maintain claims roadmap with current IT and business team - design information technology roadmaps for the current and future state that align the technological approach to the business goals - identify strategies for resolving business problems by leveraging artifacts to compile visual representations of the issue and potential solution - direct technical teams as they carry out approaches to problem solving - perform code reviews and identify anti-patterns, make suggestions for improvements, provide solutions where needed - ensure that the solutions deployed into production possess the following high-quality attributes: supportability, reliability, manageability, and flexibility - deploy solutions and capabilities in place to meet the business needs - demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and skillful customer service when working with others - communicate complex ideas in terms that others can easily understand and are able to gain buy-in from those they are working with - contribute to and complete documentation as approved by domain architecture - be a change agent who has a willingness to do things differently than they have been done in the past - transfer knowledge and projects to the appropriate parties - align IT strategy and solutions with the company’s business objectives by working with service manager and leadership - demonstrate strong communication and analytical skills to ensure the organization has the right tools to be successful - establish and define architectural principles and standards across the enterprise - build, maintain, promote and evangelize an enterprise view of the IT architectural vision - analyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions - assist executive management team in aligning IT strategy and solutions with the company’s business objectives - ensure departmental adherence to accepted Enterprise Architecture principles - provide technical leadership, guidance, and support in the deployment of enterprise-wide solutions - facilitate the governance and use of Enterprise Architecture principles, guidance and reference architectures - collaborate on new opportunities to reduce global IT costs, share application services and improve existing solutions - provide strategic guidance and support for the department head

Be equipped with: - Guidewire ClaimCenter experience and knowledgefamiliarity with integration, migration, reporting strategies and experience relative to Guidewire Cloud Platform - Java, Spring, REST, SOAP, XML, XSLT, JSON, SQL DevOps (CI/CD, SCA, Observability) Practices, Developer Testing Practices - experience with enterprise integration strategies and best practicesevent-driven messaging - experience with cloud technologies, AWS a plusDocker, Kubernetes - Azure - Cloud Native Development (CND) - general Insurance knowledge, including claims

Bring education or experience from: - bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience - experience creating system design architecture and defining integration patterns - experience leading teams through design adoption and successful execution - excellent documentation, communication, leadership skills - help define/maintain claims roadmap with current I/T and business team
