Job Description: Senior Backend EngineerRemote, US

Nostra.ai is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company focused on providing technical excellence to ecommerce brands. Our cutting-edge product suite is centered around Nostra’s Edge Delivery Engine, which uses smart caching and nearly 300 servers around the world to drastically reduce latency and improve conversion rates.

Nostra serves over 100 clients across the Shopify and Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystems and is expanding at breakneck speed. Current customers include Jolie, Glamntetic, and Cozy Earth.

Backed by leading investors including Crosscut Ventures and Signal Peak, Nostra’s dynamic team is growing quickly and seeking a gifted Senior Backend Engineer to join us in our mission and contribute to our continued success.

Role OverviewAs a Senior Backend Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to maintain and improve the backend services that drive our edge delivery products. We use Typescript, Cloudflare Workers, AWS (S3, Fargate, Lambda, ALB, Route53, SQS, ECS, etc), Redis, and anything else that helps keep the services performing well.

Responsibilities - Build out new features/services - Maintain our existing services

Requirements - Minimum 3 years experience with Typescript - Knowledge of REST API creation/maintenance/versioning - Previous startup experience - AWS experience preferred - Infrastructure-as-code experience highly preferred (we use Pulumi, but any system would be preferred over no experience)

Compensation - The compensation package for this position includes a salary of between $160,000 and $220,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, a retirement plan, stock options, and outsized opportunities for professional development and growth.
