Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience, +3 years of experience in vehicle technical knowledge including diagnostics and repair processes, Knowledge of Connected Vehicle technology, electrical architecture, CAN-based diagnostics, Product Development a plus.

Key responsabilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Development and Model E on customer experience for Vehicle Uptime and Maintenance Repair
  • Develop strategies for Vehicle Health aligned with business objectives
  • Support Product Owners' technical needs related to vehicle health
  • Participate in defining and implementing new Vehicle Health data elements

Your missions

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Development and Model E as an advocate for the customer experience related to Vehicle Uptime and Effortless Maintenance & Repair
  • Integrate with Forward Model Vehicle Programs to develop Vehicle Health strategies and targets that align with overall FCSD business objectives
  • Partner with Core Engineering to develop service strategies and publish requirements for future electrical architectures, components and features
  • Apply knowledge of vehicle system/component interaction and data elements to brainstorm new Vehicle Health capabilities
  • Support Product Owners and Feature Systems Engineers with technical background related to component degradation and service levels
  • Support efforts to define and implement new Vehicle Health data elements in future products

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Automotive, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent work experience
  • Strong overall vehicle technical knowledge a must +3 years experience
  • Strong knowledge of dealership vehicle diagnostic/repair processes a must +3 years of experience
  • Working knowledge of Connected Vehicle technology preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical architecture and CAN-based diagnostics preferred
  • Working knowledge of Product Development structure/processes preferred
