Admissions Consultant - Part-Time, Remote


**This opportunity is for individuals residing in the US or Canada only**


**Successful candidates for this position are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus**


Overview:

At BeMo, we believe everyone deserves access to higher education. We're an EdTech company that helps students navigate the maze of higher education admissions to become world-class professionals. The Admissions Consultant will join our team to work directly with our students to help them improve their med school applications, prepare for interviews, MCAT, OSCE, etc.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Review and critique application documents and provide feedback to help students improve their applications
  • Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to help students improve their interview performance
  • Help students prepare for the MCAT and OSCE
  • Work from anywhere, and set your own hours
  • Enjoy the fulfilling reward of helping others achieve their goals
  • Continuously demonstrate a genuine passion for mentoring our students and improving our overall operations and impact as a company


Requirements:

  • You must be an MD or DO Resident, Fellow, or a practicing or non-practicing MD or DO to apply for this position
  • You must be located in the United States or Canada
  • You must have completed, or be in the process of completing, your MD or DO training in the United States or Canada
  • Ability to work independently and participate in self-directed learning
  • Must be tech savvy
  • Must have access to a quiet room with a door, high speed internet, an ergonomic chair and desk, a webcam and microphone
  • We ask successful applicants to not work for other test prep companies

  • Must be looking for a long-term role and not looking for a "stepping stone" short-term gig
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Extremely humble and eager to learn
  • Excellent verbal communications and writing skills
  • Ability to act independently with very little supervision and have a great work ethic
  • Managerial attitude taking full responsibility for assigned roles
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality
  • Must have access to a quiet private room with a door that's noise and distraction free and access to an ergonomic chair and desk
  • Must have access to high speed and reliable Internet with minimum download speed of 10 Mbps.
