Higginbotham has an immediate opening for an EPIC Download Specialist .

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Download Specialist to join our dynamic team in the insurance industry. As a Download Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing download processes for the entire agency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Applied EPIC, IVANS Exchange, and possess exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. **

Essential Tasks:**

Manage Download Services: Collaborate with carriers and IVANS Exchange to add, update, and correct download services for the entire agency, ensuring seamless data integration.
Assist P&C Staff: Support Property and Casualty staff with download processes, offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance to enhance operational efficiency.
EPIC Configuration: Configure Applied EPIC for programs interfacing with EPIC, ensuring accurate and efficient data exchange.
Transaction Review: Regularly review and assign download suspense transactions, addressing discrepancies and ensuring data accuracy.
Procurement Development: Contribute to the development of departmental procedures related to download processes, ensuring clarity and consistency in operations.
Office Mergers: Assist in the smooth integration of offices into our current agency management system, facilitating a seamless transition for all stakeholders.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Must be proficient in AMS configuration, preferably Applied EPIC configuration.
Ability to perform large work volume with a high degree of accuracy and speed while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong analytical skills.
Exceptional problem solving skills.
Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Ability to work independently, assess situations quickly and make logical and appropriate decisions while also understanding when a decision must be a collaborative effort.

Experience and Education:

Experience: Experience working with Applied EPIC and IVANS is preferred.
Download Expertise: Previous experience in download processes within the insurance industry is preferred.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel, with the ability to navigate and utilize software tools effectively.
Communication Skills: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
Team Player: Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
