Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Risk Analyst on a temporary basis on our Organizational Performance team.This position is a remote opportunity and can be based across Western Canada.We are looking for a risk professional to provide their expertise to our Energy Roadmap Program.  If you have a high attention to detail and thrive in an environment of collaboration with stakeholders, this may be your next professional opportunity!What you’ll do: - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for the project, identifying potential threats and opportunities that may impact project objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect data and insights to inform risk identification and prioritization. - Lead cost effective risk mitigation solutions and strategies and strive to create a process that captures and evaluates the projects risk profile. - Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and capitalize on opportunities. - Continuously monitor project activities and market conditions to identify emerging risks and update risk assessments accordingly.

Who you’ll work with:You will collaborate with project managers, project and program steering committees, the senior leadership team and other audiences to effectively communicate risk findings and provide proactive risk mitigation recommendations. Why it matters:We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development.Who you are:You are looking for a career in Project Management & Business Analysis and: - Have 6-9 years of related experience in risk management. - Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, finance or a related field (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered). - Proven experience in project risk management, ideally in large-scale projects with substantial budgets. - In-depth knowledge of risk assessment methodologies, tools and techniques. - PMI-RMP or related risk management certifications are an asset.
