About the Role

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of technology issues across various domains within Technology Risk 
  • Independently liaise with Vendor Managers, Info Security Officers, and vendors to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding technology issues. 
  • Perform detailed Quality Assurance (QA) work on third-party technology issues, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Update and maintain risk management trackers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of risk management activities and findings. 
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key findings and progress updates. 

Must Have: 

  • Intermediary expertise in Risk Management, with an understanding of various domains within Tech Risk Management (e.g. Access Management, Data Security) 
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in risk management, with a proven track record of identifying and evaluating technology risks. 
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to independently liaise with Vendor Managers, Info Security Officers, and vendors to ensure effective risk management practices. 
  • Keen eye for detail, capable of performing thorough QA work on third-party technology issues to ensure compliance to standards. 
  • Proficiency in updating and maintaining trackers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of risk management activities. 

Nice to Have: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a financial institution or consulting firm. 
  • Proficiency in using risk management software and tools, e.g. Archer. 
  • Deep specialist expertise in 1 or more technology risk domains (e.g. access management) 
  • Technical knowledge of information security principles, access management, and data protection. 

Technical Abilities: 

  • Familiarity with SharePoint and other similar tracking tools for updating and maintaining trackers and documentation.
