Senior Data Science Consultant

We are looking for a senior data science consultant who is ready to take on the exciting challenge of combining mathematics, statistics, and analytics in a dynamic startup environment.

Responsibilities:

As a (senior) data science consultant, you will be the technical interface for all data science related topics for our customers. This requires being able to understand the customer’s business model, explaining to our customers data science related questions and do analyses for the customer. Being a data science interface, enables you to be the go-to person for providing technical input to the data science teams for various issues related to model improvement.

Qualifications:

• A degree in either computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or economics or a comparable field.
• Familiarity with relevant topics in mathematics and statistics.
• Familiarity with libraries like Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and Statsmodels; PySpark familiarity is a plus.
• Good SQL skills.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, ideally in a retail or consumer products space.
• Comfortable analyzing large data sets using tools such as SQL, Python, and R, and are comfortable navigating big data environments.
• Experience with customers and stakeholders and are able to explain highly technical data science-related topics in a language suitable for your audience.
