Junior Java Web Developer / Tester (Remote/Thessaloniki)

We currently have a vacancy for a Junior Java Web Developer / Tester fluent in English, to provide their services in international web development projects of the company, in the field of eGovernment. The work will be carried out fully remote or at the premises of the company in Thessaloniki, Greece. In the context of this assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the software implementation and maintenance teams of the company, interfacing and closely cooperating with the client’s Management, Business and Technical responsible teams.

Main responsibilities and Tasks:

• Preparation of software development documentation (Test Cases, Test Reports, User Manuals, etc.);
• Participation in the development of automated testing solutions;
• Participation in the development of web and mobile software, using state-of-the-art technologies;
• Participation in testing, training, and help-desk/user support activities, for web applications;
• Project management support, coordination, and reporting.

Requirements

• University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Electrical Engineering;
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken;
• Experience in Java programming language, web development, and databases;
• Familiarization with the software development cycle for web applications (requirements, design, development, testing, etc.);
• Good understanding of OO programming principles, XML, SQL, HTML, CSS technologies and capacity in automated testing tools (Selenium and/or SoapUI etc.) will be an asset.
