• Global Market Quantitative Research (GMQR) designs and implements innovative solutions to the most complex issues raised by its Capital Market activities. It brings its expertise on financial modelling, data analytics, machine learning and optimization. The team counts more than 150 members in all regions, with Paris and London as main hubs. The team is part of Front Office in Global Market organization.
• Within GMQR, the Resources & Financing Optimization team brings its expertise on Financing and Scarce resources. The team builds analytics to create an efficient security financing platform and to manage efficiently scarce liquidity and balance sheet resources. The team works in close relationship with Front-office Financing stakeholders: Equity Financing, Financing Resources Management, Prime Brokerage and Global Market ALM Treasury. Technology, Risk and Finance are also strong partners of the team.
• The team evolves in a truly international environment with stakeholders in all regions.

Your Main Activities Are

• We are looking for a junior Quantitative Analyst to contribute to our security financing and resource optimization platform. More specifically, the new joiner will liaise with our sponsors and stakeholders to get feedback on our solution, propose ideas and implements them in the platform. The role gives exposure to all aspects of financing, and gives a high visibility internally as the projects are closely monitored by the bank management. This is a well-diversified roles with involves primarily software coding, but also modelling, data analytics and project management.

• Yes, if you have outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Yes, if you have strong coding skills in at least one object-oriented programming language and wish to keep practicing and improving. Coding experience in C# is a plus.
• Yes if you have a specific awareness to software architecture design
• You know how to adapt quickly to new complex environments while being proactive? Understanding, leading and explaining change is part of your skills? You are methodical and have synthesis skills? Finally, your English level, both orally and in writing is very good!
