As our Senior Director of Strategic and Transformation PMO within R1’s Revenue Performance Solutions (RPS) you will be tasked with setting the strategic direction and overseeing the governance of PMO programs. This role involves partnering with Service Line leaders to drive revenue growth through a diverse array of projects, including internal performance improvement initiatives, organizational alignment, mergers and acquisitions, and other special programs as assigned by senior leadership. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in project management and transformation to ensure all projects align with the organization's strategic objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.

In this role, the successful candidate will be an expert on topics impacting the RPS’ RCM and functional operations.

Every day in this role you will:

  • Lead a central team of process and project management professionals, ensuring operational efficiencies across cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the internal project management office, ensuring project success and deliverables using project management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Establish and maintain processes to enhance efficiency and productivity in Revenue Cycle Operations and Safety Net services.
  • Identify productivity and efficiency opportunities, including resource alignment, production targets, and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with central Business Intelligence teams for strategic insights.
  • Ensure timely dissemination of information and delivery of education to global teams.
  • Build and manage change management processes for internal enablement of product releases.
  • Advise and collaborate with service line leaders to identify incremental revenue opportunities and growth pathways.
  • Play a key role in multi-year strategy planning, evaluating M&A opportunities, and conducting ROI analyses for capital redeployment.

To thrive in this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or business administration.
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience preferably in a healthcare organization.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Understanding and experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others.
  • Expertise in revenue cycle operations.
  • Proficient in assessing situations, identifying issues, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Experience in revenue cycle review and analysis.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $173,218.64 - $236,527.59 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 25.00%
