As a Director, HR Business Partner, you’ll play the pivotal role of strategic consultant, supporting our Traditional Wealth Planning business. This business includes Planners responsible for bringing new clients to EFE and delivering the ongoing service and support needed to foster long-term client relationships. Additionally, this business includes critical support teams including estate and tax planning, learning & development, and practice management.

We are seeking a candidate with proven experience in a fast-paced environment with experience supporting revenue-generating clients. Responsibilities:
  • Support Traditional Wealth Planning leadership on organizational and functional design, and workforce and talent planning, positioning the organization for scalable and successful growth
  • Diagnose and analyze business, talent and culture trends, helping to develop innovative solutions at the business unit and enterprise level
  • Consult on forward-thinking strategies to support organic and inorganic growth in Wealth Planning, and supporting tax, estate planning, insurance planning teams[VP1]  
  • Closely collaborate with Traditional Wealth leadership and Compensation partners to influence design, and support implementation, of incentive-based compensation plans  
  • Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the company’s strategy, mid-to-long range objectives, financial position, culture, and industry competition
  • Provide coaching and feedback to leadership to optimize performance and address development needs
  • Manage employee relations, including investigation and reporting as needed, following up with employees, managers and leaders as appropriate
  • Drive adoption of HR programs and lead cyclical activities with your clients
 
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of relevant HR experience, with 5+ years in the RIA space
  • Experience supporting financial planners/advisors strongly preferred
  • Understanding of revenue generating business units’ unique needs and opportunities, including incentive- based compensation
  • Proven experience in Strategic HR, Workforce Planning, Compensation and Incentive plans, Talent and Organization development and Organizational change
  • Demonstratable track record of influencing across all levels of leaders in a remote environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
 
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $126,00-$167,950. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
 
Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
