RPG Developer

Genesis10 is seeking a RPG Developer for a contract with our client in Eagan, MN. 100% Remote.

Job Description:

Responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing application system changes forRPG Surround code for the RxClaim application. This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed application systems to process data. This position is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs and collaborating with other team members by providing technical advice. This ties into Payment and Billing.
Interaction level with Management/Team Members: Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads,and Project Managers and to establish specifications and estimations on complex initiatives and requests
Work with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Business Users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure product meets customer requirements and expectations


Required Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

Technology Requirements:

• Proficiency in IBM I-Series (AS/400) technologies RPG IV (ILE), DB2/400 RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE
• At least 8 years of experience in AS400, RPGLE,CLLE ,
• Experience with source code management/change control (for example MKS)
• At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.

Additional PreferredRequirements:

• Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI,CMSetc.)
• Previous experience in PBM / health care industry
• Understanding of security implications of domain

Compensation:

Hourly W2 pay rate $60-70
