Summary
The Assistant Design Manager will manage workflow for all Strategic Design projects. This Involves tracking the status and following-up on all inputs and deliverables from the Strategic Design process, including Design Briefs, SOWs, Marketing feedback and approvals, Legal approvals, and Design Agency deliverables. This role is responsible for managing design timeline requirements and managing final Packaging approvals, involving Design Manager as necessary.
Summary of major duties:
Strategic Design Team Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely flow of deliverables from all functional areas in the Global Design process through regularly scheduled status meetings with Global Design Managers, Design Agency partners, Marketing and Packaging Graphics teams. Establish standard communication and tracking methodologies and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Independently manage Strategic Design process for assigned projects, using electronic tools and systems. Ensure timely and thorough project communications with Legal, Design Agencies and Marketing teams. Review final packaging graphics in on line approval systems, comparing to released design art and following up on any issues to ensure quick resolution.
• Continuously improve systems and processes for managing Strategic Design workflows, working with Design Managers and Capabilities teammates. Recommend system changes/upgrades to streamline communications with process partners.
•Responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge of systems, people and procedures that touch the Strategic Design process, including any regional specific areas.
Design Operations Responsibilities:
Production
• Coordinate business affairs needs with agency partners.
• Key C-Sweet Content contact for asset management and the hub. Ensuring assets are up to date and requests are handled in a timely manner
Budget
• Partner with marketing ops to manage invoice submissions and ongoing tracking. Inclusive of ongoing fees and productions

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Printing/Packaging/Graphic Arts, Packaging Engineering or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in industry.
