As an SEO Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the strategy and direction of our clients' digital campaigns. With hands-on experience and guidance from a seasoned SEO team, you will utilize your strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to conduct data-driven research and provide valuable insights. 

Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for learning and a commitment to excellence, and will continuously strive to improve their expertise in the ever-evolving field of SEO.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform client SEO programs using various data sources, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Trends, and others.
  • Participate in technical site audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Google Lighthouse, Ahrefs, and Semrush.
  • Provide best practice SEO recommendations for site content, such as meta data, schema markup, internal linking, and light content edits.
  • Create reporting of varying complexity for clients, including Google Looker Studio, Google Sheets, and Google Slides, with different reporting cadences (e.g. weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
  • Regularly monitor client SEO program performance and identify any wins, losses, or opportunities to escalate to the team and client.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional client teams, including SEO Analysts, Managers, and Director roles as well as Account Services
  • Communicate with clients when needed to provide clarity or insight into specific SEO deliverables.
  • Manage and improve effective utilization of platforms like Yext, Rio, Stat and Semrush for clients.
  • Implement optimizations on client websites using such platforms as Wordpress, Shopify, Squarespace, and Magento.
  • Contribute to the SEO department through sharing news bites, participating in Slack channels, attending vendor meetings, and supporting internal projects.
Qualifications

What You’ll Bring
  • SEO work experience with exposure to content strategy, web development, and platforms like YouTube
  • Strong self-governance and organization, balanced with the courage to ask for help and admit ignorance
  • Strong visual communication skills, presenting data insights in Google Slides
  • Basic to intermediate Excel and Google Sheets skills, including proficiency in VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
