Job Description
DUTIES: Design and develop software platforms and architecture to operate and support the company’s Aruba hardware and software platforms; perform enterprise-scale network engineering using IPsec VPN secure tunnels, Network Access Controls, and Radius protocol; design, deploy, and troubleshoot IP and wireless networks; perform network routing and switching for user authentication, next-gen firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and port level filters and checks; build test beds; conduct verification and validation testing; architect and operationalize the Comcast Branch Office Connectivity; proactively analyze and recommend ways to optimize and utilize Comcast’s Aruba investment; report issues to HPE-Aruba TAC and Product Engineering organizations; collaborate in the development of mobility solutions; develop performance benchmarks; actively seek to educate and expand the Aruba technical expertise through informal workshops, mentor sessions, design review, and documentation for customer use; collaborate with the customer engineering and operations teams; and quickly assess and analyze pertinent data points in order to focus on getting to root cause of customer issues with HPE-Aruba products. Position is eligible for 100% remote work.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing software platforms and architecture; performing enterprise-scale network engineering using IPsec VPN secure tunnels, Network Access Controls, and Radius protocol; designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IP and wireless networks; performing network routing and switching; building test beds; and conducting verification and validation testing; of which one (1) year includes using Aruba hardware and software platforms.
