Our ZTD Strategy Realization & Governance (ZTD SR&G) organization is responsible for building and maturing core capabilities to run Zoetis Tech & Digital with the discipline of a business, driving a cohesive approach to strategy planning, portfolio execution and value realization while optimizing technology costs, enabled by a workforce planning strategy, and deploying agile ways of working.
A major part of this digital transformation, is expanding our Supplier Management Office (SMO) which is responsible for managing a view of our preferred suppliers, establishing a supplier governance model to ensure we are leveraging our preferred suppliers, building a plan to optimize our supplier landscape and establishing a supplier relationship and performance framework to ensure we have the right engagement with our preferred suppliers, optimizing our partnership and ensuring we are managing against our SLRs/outcomes. The Head of SMO will report to the Head of ZTD SR&G and will help build a team responsible for managing our core supplier processes including Supplier Relationship Management, Performance Management, Contract Management and Finance Management. The SMO team will partner very closely with our Service Delivery Management Office for all processes and governance in support of our Managed Service Providers.
Responsibilities:
Supplier Governance:
Implement a Supplier Governance Model to ensure all supplier engagements are evaluated against our Preferred Suppliers ensuring we rationalize our existing supplier landscape and that new suppliers are added only after existing supplier base is exhausted.
Create and manage a Supplier Landscape Framework capturing where and how suppliers are engaged across the ZTD organization.
Build and execute against a Supplier Rationalization Plan driving efficiencies while optimizing our overall Supplier Landscape.
Manage our Preferred Supplier list in partnership with the ZTD Leadership Team.
Maintain inventory of supplier spend by category (software, hardware, telecom, staff augmentation, services), cost center and region.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Establish a Supplier Relationship Framework outlining a consistent approach to engaging and managing performance with our Preferred Suppliers (supplier meeting cadence, scorecards, etc.).
Establish Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) Model with clear roles and responsibilities, identify SRMs in ZTD for our Preferred Suppliers ensuring Zoetis maximizes value received from supplier engagements.
Supplier Performance Management:
Track and report on SLAs/metrics achieved and RCA resolution.
Ensure adherence of supplier performance to contract terms & conditions.
Manage against contract mechanisms based on performance and support in calculating service credits etc.
Manage an SLA repository.
Ensure risks associated with service performance issues/deficiencies are identified and mitigated.
Supplier Contract & Financial Management:
Manage interpretation of supplier contracts.
Oversee lifecycle management of supplier contracts in tight collaboration with Procurement.
Log and manage contract changes as per contracting best practices.
Ensure compliance with contract terms and regulatory requirements.
Support contract renewals or terminations.
Collaborate with ZTD Finance for billing, invoicing, and payments.
Track and apply performance credits/rebates.
Ensure risks associated with supplier contract compliance issues/deficiencies are identified and mitigated.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.
10+ years in supplier management and sourcing, specifically related to IT for multi-national global corporations in a position to influence senior level management and key stakeholders.
Experience building supplier and cost management practices with total annual spend of $200M+ across a global IT organization including successfully influencing and driving change in governance practices.
Proven experience in successfully managing suppliers/third parties, including, but not limited to policies, performance, relationships, and issue and dispute resolution for complex managed service providers with total annual spend of $50M+.
Strong communication and broad influence skills; ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

be located in Colorado. Base pay may vary based on location and other factors.
Base Pay Range: $160,000 – 230,000

Base Pay Range: $170,000 - $260,000
