About the Role:

Arctic Wolf is seeking an exceptional leader to lead our global employment legal team, leading  efforts to maintain and grow a global workforce in  our rapidly growing cybersecurity business. This role is integral to providing world-class employment law guidance to our human resources team, business leaders, and other key stakeholders across the organization.

The successful candidate will be a proven leader with the ability to navigate complex employment legal matters across various jurisdictions, ensuring compliance while supporting Arctic Wolf’s mission of ending cyber risk. They will drive strategic execution, practically balancing legal risk with business needs, and fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and high performance. This role requires an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about building and leading a high-performing legal team.

How You Will Contribute:

Your Impact

  • Lead the employment law division of the Arctic Wolf legal team, which encompasses multiple geographies, providing strategic guidance on employment law issues relevant to Arctic Wolf’s global workforce.
  • Navigate complex employment legal matters, including hiring, terminations, workplace policies, investigations, compliance, and workforce restructuring, while ensuring alignment with Arctic Wolf’s culture and values.
  • Develop and implement practical legal strategies that support Arctic Wolf’s business objectives while mitigating risk.
  • Maintain employment related privacy policies and other employment related privacy matters as they arise.  
  • Foster a culture of integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Partner closely with HR, compliance, and business leaders to develop policies, guidelines, and training programs that align with Arctic Wolf’s security-driven and employee-focused culture.
  • Oversee and manage employment-related litigation, working with internal and external counsel to drive data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.
  • Support Arctic Wolf’s expansion into new markets whether organic or through M&A, advising on employment law compliance and best practices for a growing global workforce.
  • Oversee and manage trade compliance as it relates to the onboarding of employees and contractors worldwide and their access to technology.
  • Provide legal support on executive compensation, equity matters, and workforce planning in alignment with Arctic Wolf’s business strategies.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Undergraduate and law degree (JD or equivalent).
  • 15+ years of combined experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, ideally in a multinational technology or cybersecurity company.
  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing legal teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law across multiple jurisdictions, with experience supporting global operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly responsive and business-oriented mindset, with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive execution in a dynamic environment.
