The Impact You’ll Make in This Role

As a Senior Machine Learning (ML) & Natural Language Understanding (NLU) Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based ML systems, ensuring reliability and performance in production environments. 

  • Integrate ML systems into existing NLU pipelines to enhance functionality and accuracy. 

  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Subject Matter Experts, Application Engineers, and Product Teams to support the end-to-end execution of ML-based solutions. 

Your Skills and Expertise

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND five (5) years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment.

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of nine (9) years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment.

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Five (5) years of software development experience using one or more of the following: Java or Python

  • Two (2) years of experience with containerization technology such as Docker, Kubernetes or AWS ECS

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Experience in data science with large datasets. 

  • Proficiency with ML tools like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Apache Spark, and MLflow. 

  • Strong software engineering skills, including documentation, testing, and validation. 

  • Experience with Git and distributed version control systems. 

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. 

  • Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. 

  • Experience coding in Linux/Unix environments.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $119,076 - $145,537, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
