Job description

Overview:

The Project and Implementation Manager (IM) will manage client vendor implementations and other employee benefit related projects to support both HUB clients and HUB service teams. This position is responsible for leading and managing tasks from start to finish, while holding all relevant parties accountable. The IM will focus on establishing key milestones, leading recurring calls, and providing status reports in collaboration with all applicable parties. The IM will manage the overall success of implementing vendors, employee benefit programs, and point solutions for HUB clients. This position will also support overall vendor management.

Job Duties

  • Acts as a single point of contact for project and implementation efforts
  • Establish and maintain strong and productive professional relationships with key vendor partners, including a detailed familiarity with key vendor partner products and services in support of assigned clients
  • Performs discovery to gather all implementation requirements
  • Runs proactive and productive meetings with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure fully transparent communication and clear direction for next actions as well as who is responsible for each action
  • Develops detailed work plans, tracking schedules, resource plans, and status reports for each implementation and/or project to ensure timely delivery
  • Documents and refines standard operating procedures (SOP) for efficient vendor implementation and onboarding
  • Ensure all implementation and/or project tasks are completed on time with high quality
  • Acts as a liaison between vendors, clients, and HUB client service teams to ensure accountability between all parties
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for implementation procedures
  • Identify, lead, and implement process improvement initiatives, leaving a better foundation for the execution of similar projects in the future
  • Support open enrollment communications and meetings to support the education of new benefits and solutions to the employees of HUB clients

Qualifications

  • At least five years of implementation experience at a Medical and Prescription Drug third party administrator
  • State Life, Accident, and Health license
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to hold oneself and others accountable
  • Ability to delegate effectively when appropriate
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools
  • A high energy and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Significant skill in handling competing demands and projects within defined timeframes
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize appropriately
  • The ability to clearly define tasks, assign them to a responsible party, and track accurate completion and accountability
  • Strong and efficient time management skills
