We’re seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Engineering Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate with our Data Engineering team to provide feedback and help ensure the internal data lake is structured to support reporting and analysis. You’ll take ownership of developing dashboards, reports, and actionable insights for various internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, and experience with data visualization tools. Familiarity with data processing concepts and workflows is a plus but not required. 

 
What you can expect to work on: 

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and other teams to understand data requirements and deliver analyses 
  • Collaborate with engineers to provide feedback and ensure the data lake structure supports reporting and analysis needs 
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform large datasets for reporting 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for various internal stakeholders 
  • Implement data visualization tools to present data in a clear and actionable manner 
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation checks and collaboration with data engineers 
  • Continuously improve data processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness 

 

What we expect from you: 

  • Strong alignment with our mission, including a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful decisions 
  • 3-5 years of experience working as a Data Analyst or in a similar role 
  • Proficiency in SQL, and familiarity with data processing technologies is a plus 
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams 
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity

We feel passionately about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one vehicle to achieve that. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, including a target base annual salary range of $80,000-$110,000, plus bonus opportunity, company stock options, and a full benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and a 401k plan. Please note that the higher end of this range will be reserved for candidates with appropriate experience who reside in high cost of labor markets.
