We are looking for a Manager Tax Accounting and Compliance to join our team! This is a critical role in the Ziff Davis Tax organization reporting to the VP, Tax. This position is fully remote and flexible on location. role’s responsibilities include:

Responsible for day-to-day tax accounting responsibilities which include documentation and maintenance of deferred taxes, taxes payable, uncertain tax position reserves and effective tax rate drivers.
Run preparation of the federal tax return and U.S. Federal estimated tax payments and cash forecasts.
Compile and analyze quarterly and annual tax provision calculations.
Prepare quarterly and annual disclosures for SEC filings.
Work with outside consultants to oversee the preparation of US international tax calculations of the Company including GILTI, BEAT, FTC, FDII, etc. and the impact of acquisitions or divestitures on the Company’s global tax profile.
Oversee and maintain necessary intercompany agreements and transfer pricing reports.
Oversee legal entity basis calculations.
Assist in gathering information to support IRS and state tax audits.
Monitor US income tax legislation and continually evaluate the potential impact of tax developments to the Company.
Lead tax department initiatives to automate and streamline tax processes related to U.S. income tax compliance and global tax provision.

Job Requirements

4-6 years of tax accounting and compliance from a public accounting firm or large multinational corporation. Public accounting experience is preferred.
Educational background with a focus on tax MS in Taxation or CPA is preferred.
Extensive knowledge of US tax principles.
Strong oral and written communication capabilities, including the ability to relate tax concepts to non-tax colleagues.
Ability to successfully build effective relationships with external advisors.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and relationship management skills are required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
Experience working with OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax software from Thomson Reuters and Alteryx
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion, SAP, and etc.) to query financial statement transactions
