Job description

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the platform team and take ownership of maintaining and evolving the Google Cloud Platform for products.

Responsibilities:
- Automate deployment processes and optimize cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor cloud costs and improve performance and availability.
- Enable engineering teams with solid tooling and expertise in the software delivery lifecycle.
- Ensure security and keep internal IT processes running smoothly.

Requirements:
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, or Crossplane (Google Config Connector is a plus!).
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Elixir, or JavaScript/Node.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes, Google Kubernetes Engine, and ArgoCD.
- Solid foundation in Golang and/or Python.
- Worked with AWS, Azure, or (ideally) Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, PromQL, and Grafana.
- Proactive, curious, and resourceful.
- Organizational and communication skills that enhance collaboration.
