Job description

We are looking for a Freelance DevOps Engineer to support our infrastructure automation, deployment, and virtualization needs. You will work closely with our development team to ensure a scalable, secure, and highly available environment.

Responsibilities

Proxmox & Virtualization: Manage virtual machines and optimize virtualization workflows using Proxmox VE.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using Ansible and Terraform.
CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
Network Management: Configure and maintain Unix-based networks, including firewalls, routing, and VPN setups.
Monitoring & Logging: Ensure system performance and reliability through proactive monitoring solutions.
Security & Compliance: Implement best security practices for infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with Proxmox VE and virtual machine lifecycle management.
Hands-on expertise in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Proficiency in Unix/Linux network management and security best practices.
Experience with CI/CD tools, particularly GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker & Kubernetes (nice to have).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
