Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join us for an eight-week, summer internship within our Development department. Internships at esVolta aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities
The intern should expect to be involved in tasks similar to those listed below.

Research, identify and summarize power market dynamics that drive battery energy storage adoption across each US power market.
Analyze power market data to determine best locations to site battery energy storage across the country.
Analyze financial viability of energy storage projects across markets.
Perform due diligence on investment portfolios.
Craft detailed and informative presentations management.

Skills and Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, etc.
An interest in the energy sector and US power markets.
Strong analytical skills.
Advanced Excel Skills/VBA.
Effective communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively work within multi-disciplinary project teams.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of GIS tools (e.g. ArcGIS) and Python programming language is a plus.

Compensation
The anticipated annual hourly rate for this position is listed below. The actual hourly rate will depend on the specific skills and experience of the selected candidate.
