Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking a Video Production Specialist (VPS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, a passion for storytelling, and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you will work directly with the Chief Knowledge Officer (CKO) to develop and execute product training videos, internal training videos, and other video projects associated with all business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute product training videos for in-product and other online training purposes.

  • Work within the frameworks of existing brands and graphic standards.

  • Collaborate with the CKO and various internal resources to create product training videos, marketing videos, and motion graphics.

  • Assist the CKO in developing and refining a templated approach to training videos.

  • Identify, assemble, and manage all assets necessary for video production – internal and external (e.g., screen flows, voiceover, graphics).

  • Shoot and edit original video content as necessary.

  • Create and manage production schedules.

  • Develop storyboards from approved content outlines.

  • Work with internal resources to upload final, edited videos to products and websites.

  • Maintain video production equipment and recommend new equipment to enhance efforts.

  • Participate in conference calls as needed.

  • Perform other duties as requested.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: High school student / College student / Upcoming graduation. No degree required; related field or equivalent education and experience preferred.

  • Experience: 2-3 years of video production experience.

  • Skills:

    • Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.

    • Self-directed with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

    • Proficient in using video cameras, equipment, and audio recording/mixing tools.

    • Demonstrated experience with training videos, product and marketing videos, and viral/online video content.

    • Working knowledge of hardware/software such as Adobe Creative Suite (including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects) and company tools like Redmine and Google Docs.

    • Ability to work independently (concept through production) and collaborate with internal/external resources as required.

    • Comfort with remote work and daily use of online collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams).


Preferred Qualifications

  • Graphic design background/skills.

  • Some knowledge of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
