The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s Home Care provides care to 22 counties in and around the Kansas City Metro and has one of the lowest hospital readmission rates in the region, a testament to our high-quality care.
The Shift: Monday – Friday, daytime hours. Fully remote.
Review clinical documentation as appropriate to extract data and apply appropriate ICD10 codes for billing internal and external reporting research and regulatory compliance. Appropriately assign codes for diagnoses treatments and procedures as determined by the clinical documentation. Ability to determine principal diagnosis comorbidities and complications secondary conditions and surgical procedures. Can properly assign ICD 10 codes for Home Health under the Conditions of Participation. Must be able to analyze documentation and abstract pertinent data in EPIC. Must maintain minimum quality and productivity standards. This position will provide home health coding under new ICD-10 guidelines.
