Job description

We are looking for a freelance Senior Copywriter who has experience writing medium-form, industry-specific marketing copy for big brands. They’ll need to quickly ramp up on a brand voice as well as industry language and nomenclature in order to create copy that balances technical language with brand voice in a way that is easily understood, clearly communicates benefits, and persuades new and existing customers to engage with the client. A background in UX writing, marketing and advertising copywriting, experience writing web copy, and a portfolio that shows medium to long-form copywriting is key.  

What You’ll Do 
  • Provide copy for a website redesign for our client’s B2B Enterprise Business vertical to be more client centric, (vs product centric) focusing on industries and user-needs
  • Drive awareness about how the client can help global Fortune 500 companies address critical pain points, build a reputation for their capabilities and expertise and engage key decision makers to connect with their content and experts
  • Produce 1 Homepage, 8 Industry pages, 20 Use Case pages and 15 Product pages
  • No more than ~1,500 words per page with two rounds of review per page (in copy deck form) 
  • SEO Copywriting: Strategically incorporate targeted keywords into titles, headings, body text, and meta descriptions to optimize content for search engines while maintaining clarity and engagement

What We’re Looking For
  • Someone who is available to work remotely for an average of 12-24 hours/week from March 21 – May May 19 (Phase 1) with potential to extend throughout the remainder of 2025 (Phase 2 & 3)
  • A fantastic portfolio and at least 6 years’ experience in advertising and marketing 
  • Demonstrated expertise writing for the financial and technology industries  
  • Demonstrated experience writing for web, mobile, social and emerging platforms 
  • Ability to partner with a wide variety of team members including Strategy, Creative, and Technology teams
