Job description

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a Full-Stack Developer to contribute to the creation of a proof-of-concept that makes evidence-based medical advice more accessible. You’ll explore various tools and approaches for implementing modular rule-based decision trees, then build, test, and refine the branching logic. In parallel, you’ll design and develop a user-friendly interface to ensure seamless interaction and an optimal user experience. Your tasks will include:

Evaluating and selecting tools/frameworks for rule-based decision trees
Implementing branching logic and conditions for medical decision-making
Processing and validating inputs, including edge cases and missing information
Building and refining backend and APIs to support decision tree functionality
Developing a simple UI with basic validation and user-friendly interactions
Collaborating with medical experts to align rules with clinical guidelines
Documenting your work and iterating based on feedback and testing

Requirements

Solid experience in rule-based development (preferably Python) and data processing
Expertise in backend and API development; some frontend experience
Familiarity with decision tree frameworks or rule engines
Experience with IT projects and deployment on Azure servers is a plus
Ability to work independently, combined with strong communication and problem-solving skills
