This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Alberta, Canada
  • Includes 1 hour unpaid break
  • Commissions will be available for hitting targets

Job Description

As an Appointment Setter, you’ll play a pivotal role in the company’s global growth strategy. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential clients in the mining industry, introducing them to innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and safety. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the mining sector while honing your sales and communication skills. You’ll work independently to build and nurture a pipeline of leads, setting the stage for the company’s executives to close high-value deals. Your efforts will directly contribute to the adoption of advanced mining technologies across the globe, making a tangible impact on the industry.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct strategic outbound calls to potential clients in the mining industry across various international markets
  • Generate interest in our client’s specialized mining equipment attachments by articulating their unique value proposition
  • Schedule high-quality appointments for company executives with qualified leads
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of prospective clients, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
  • Execute follow-up strategies through email and phone calls to nurture leads and maintain engagement
  • Provide prospects with essential information about our client’s products, demonstrating a solid understanding of their applications and benefits
  • Achieve and exceed weekly targets for calls made and appointments set
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to refine lead qualification processes and improve conversion rates
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
  • Maintain detailed records of all prospect interactions, contributing to the company’s market intelligence
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively
  • Proven track record in cold calling, appointment setting and lead generation preferably in a technical or industrial field
  • Strong initiative and the ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and phone dialer systems
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Resilience and persistence in the face of objections and challenges
  • Cultural sensitivity and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse geographical backgrounds
  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on mining industry trends and technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not required if compensated by relevant experience
