Job description

The MindBridge Product Management team is committed to delivering innovative AI-based audit and assurance products to empower  assurance  professionals to transform their engagements  and deliver on our company goals. In support of these outcomes, the Product Management team engages in projects ranging from discovery research to B2B software development in partnership with teams in Product Design, Engineering, Data Science, as well stakeholders across the organization. 

 

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Management team to lead end-to-end development of innovative products for our Audit & Assurance (A&A) market. This role reports to the Director, Product Management, with a functional reporting to the General Manager of the Audit & Assurance (GM, A&A) business unit. The Senior Product Manager will work alongside the Director of Strategy, who will be leading the vision and direction. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for translating that strategy into action, focusing on what will be built and how it will be executed.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

 

The Senior Product Manager is accountable for ensuring a successful product business for the A&A Business Unit. This includes working in partnership with the GM, A&A, Strategy Director, A&A and the Director, Product Management to:

 

  • Develop and manage a product that is compelling, competitive, and meets current and future market needs
  • Ensure the A&A product business is achieving its KPIs

 

Responsibilities  

 

The Senior Product Manager leads and engages on the following in alignment with their key accountabilities:

 

  • Partner with the Director of Strategy, to translate strategic vision and market direction into actionable product roadmaps and product initiatives.
  • Lead discovery, identification, and prioritization of new product solutions to address current and emerging market opportunities through market research, competitive analysis, and current product performance assessments.
  • Oversee creation and market validation of proof-of-concepts (POCs) designed to assess the desirability, feasibility, and viability of new product solutions in partnership with the Product Leadership Team, GMs, and key cross-functional stakeholders in Product Design, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Client Services.
  • Define and update Product Strategies and Product Roadmaps that align with the organization’s business and client goals and informs product design, development, and delivery in collaboration with the Product Leadership Team, GMs, and key stakeholders in Product Design, Product Development (Engineering), Data Science, and other key stakeholders.
  • Consult on Go-To-Market plans and ensure cross-functional organizational readiness for ongoing product deployments in partnership with Product Marketing, Sales, Client Services, GMs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Consult on the product packaging and pricing strategies, including expansion strategies, to ensure approaches align with the organization’s financial objectives and align with market research, best practices, and market feedback including willingness to pay.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, Product Development (Engineering), Data Science and Subject Matter Experts to guide the translation of Product Strategies and Product Roadmaps into executable epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the purposes of product design, development and deployment.
  • Lead ongoing product performance measurement and management of assigned products or product portfolios to ensure financial and business objectives are achieved. Lead recommendation of pivots or revised strategies and tactics that may be required to keep performance on track.
  • Lead and assist in the ongoing identification and resolution of key challenges or barriers across the customer journey that may be impeding the success of assigned products / product portfolios.
  • Lead ongoing effective and clear communication of strategies, progress, and outcomes with key stakeholders including the Product Leadership team, cross-functional teams, and Senior Leadership as needed.
  • Assist in creating a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and agility within the Product Management Team by leading by example as well as guiding / coaching team members as needed.

 

Desired Experience  

 

  • Experience in B2B product management is required
  • Experience with B2B monetization and pricing is required
  • Experience with external audit or working in Professional Services is considered a strong asset
  • Proven track record of achieving B2B revenue > $5 million
  • Experience working in scale ups as well as startups
  • Experience leading product strategies and proof-of-concepts
  • Experience leading market research and competitive analysis
  • Experience with user research including focus groups, interviews, surveys, and other user research methods
  • Experience with AI, risk management, and decision intelligence is ideal
  • Experience with agile delivery
  • Experience with tool such as Pendo, JIRA, Confluence, Mural, Figma

Qualifications  

 

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of external audit/assurance experience
  • Bachelors degree in a related field i.e. Business, Marketing, Finance
  • CPA or other designation is a strong asset
