Job Description

The Enterprise Project/Program Management Consultant I is accountable for leading most aspects of multiple low complexity projects or programs under the mentorship of a more senior project/program manager. The projects or programs the employee manages have a low level of risk, organizational span, business complexity, team size, and interdependencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assesses and reports health of all projects or programs objectively, providing project transparency and accurate status updates.

Prepares test plans and executes scenarios for functional and regression testing,  approves project implementation and verifies production output.

  • Works with business and developers to ensure a common, consistent product for all states and lines of business for internal and external system customers.
  • Documents requirements and software defects and work with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure a quality product.
  • Reviews and researches production problems; determines impact of issues on the business units, develops alternative work processes until issues are resolved.

• Provides direction and oversight throughout project lifecycle to meet business requirements.

• Proactively identifies, resolves, and escalates (as needed) projects or program risks/issues.

• Achieves desired business results by thoroughly understanding business objectives.

• Plan and implement most aspects of projects or programs.

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
