What You'll Do:

  • Provide strong professional leadership, ensuring workforce capacity, competency development, and robust recruitment strategies in collaboration with P&C and TA.
  • Maintain high standards in pharmacy operations by ensuring adherence to medicines management policies, regulatory requirements, and clinical governance frameworks.
  • Drive cost-effective medicines management and procurement strategies while ensuring patient safety, compliance, and continuous service improvement.
  • Support and develop research initiatives, clinical trials, and radiopharmacy activities, ensuring alignment with regulatory and industry best practices.

What You'll Have:

Experience and skills:

  • MPharm/BPharm degree with current GPhC registration.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Strong understanding of patient safety, clinical governance, and medicines management regulations.
  • Knowledge of oncology pharmacy, clinical trials, and radiopharmacy.
  • Experience working within a matrix or global organisational structure.

Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • 10+ years in pharmacy, including 5+ years in oncology (independent sector experience desirable).
  • Extensive experience influencing multiple teams across multiple locations.
  • Proven ability to lead and embed change programmes beyond direct reports.
  • High emotional intelligence with strong self-awareness.
  • Demonstrated success in improving governance, risk, quality, and safety.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic actions.
