Title: Area Sales Representative, Life Cycle Solutions
Location: Eastern, U.S.A.
Reports To: Sr. VP, Life Cycle Solutions
The Area Sales Representative is responsible to identify and qualify sales opportunities within buying accounts and prospects located within the assigned area. This person must penetrate new divisions and organizations within their assigned accounts, use customer relationship management techniques to develop and maintain new business relationships, offer business proposals to prospective customers, create account management plans, and provide sales status reports to management.
Your Mission
•Manage relationships with customers and prospects in the area.
•Ensure order-entry and revenue targets, as well as customer satisfaction in the area.
•Prepare and present product and company presentations.
•Make offers to customers for client’s products and services within the rules set by Sales Pricing List (SPL) and management.
•Order generation; contract negotiation and finalization with complete checks.
•Active follow-up and support, including recognition and development of new projects within target companies.
•Prospect and target new prospective businesses and clients with special emphasis on additive (SLS & DMLS) manufacturing.
•Create monthly forecast (Order Entry, Revenue) for financial and production planning.
•Prepare and participate in local, team and company sales meetings.
•Represent EOS in a professional and convincing way to the public and customers.
Your Talents
•Bachelor’s degree, with a minimum 2-4 years of experience in selling solutions for manufacturing process improvement.
•High level of self-motivation to achieve goals and a business orientation to ensure EOS’ interest as well as customers´ interests are matched is essential.
•Success with target account selling, solution selling and consultative sales techniques.
•Demonstrated ability and desire to pursue and grow accounts.
•Proven sales experience in selling products in the areas of additive manufacturing, CAD/CAM, tooling machines or laser-technology. Expertise in Rapid Prototyping/Rapid Manufacturing systems.
•Able to work independently as well as within a team.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to adhere to deadlines, multi-task and to prioritise workload effectively.
•Flexible and able to adapt to changing environments.
•Willingness to travel as required.
