Senior Product Designer - Marine

Storable is seeking a creative, user-driven UI/UX Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll craft intuitive experiences that simplify complex operations for marine businesses. You’ll work on Stellar (boatrentalmanagement.com): a marina management platform that helps marinas, boatyards, and municipalities streamline workflows like slip contracts, work orders, point of sale, and payments. You’ll also design for Molo (getmolo.com): a boat rental and club management system that covers online booking, customizations, dynamic pricing, and dock staff tools.

What you will do everyday: 

• Design high-quality digital experiences that provide value to our customers and their consumers
• Create design tools—such as sketches, storyboards, journey maps, user flows, wireframes and prototypes—to organize complexity and facilitate quick and inexpensive idea exploration 
• Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative customer data, design experiments, and conduct research rounds to inform and validate design decisions 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and stakeholders to develop final designs, documentation, and assets that support delivery and launch 
• Deepen your understanding of our users and help others do the same 
• Utilize and contribute to our design system to ensure UI consistency, enhance usability, and improve accessibility 
• Participate actively in scrum planning sessions, retrospectives, and evaluations to assess progress and challenges 
• Collaborate closely with Product Design peers to exchange ideas, provide feedback, and inspire innovation 

What you will need to bring to the table: 

• 5+ years of experience in digital product design 
• Proficiency in Figma with experience using and contributing to a component library
• A portfolio demonstrating previous user-centered design solutions (required for consideration)
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies 
• Experience working in a nimble product delivery environment where product, design, and engineering collaborate closely 
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills 
• Passion for understanding and advocating for the end user 
• Ability to give and receive constructive criticism to foster growth 
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development 

Bonus Points: 

• Prior experience designing CRM, ERP, POS, accounting or similar software applications
• Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Enjoys pranking and infusing fun into the day
