Job description

At AttackIQ, we empower organizations to continuously improve their cybersecurity posture by simulating real-world cyberattacks and identifying vulnerabilities. Our mission is to help companies understand how their security measures hold up against the latest threats and optimize their defense strategies.

We are looking for talented individuals to join our team as Cybersecurity Scenario Developers. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing realistic cyberattack scenarios that simulate advanced persistent threats and other malicious activity. You will play a key role in enhancing our platform's capabilities, providing customers with actionable insights to strengthen their security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and design scenarios for simulating cyberattacks on various network and system environments.
  • Create scripts in Python, PowerShell, and shell scripting to simulate a wide range of attack vectors.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration of developed scenarios into AIQ’s platform.
  • Continuously improve and update attack simulations based on the latest cybersecurity trends and techniques.
  • Work with the product team to gather requirements and feedback for new scenario development.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience using Python
  • Interest in cybersecurity and a passion for understanding modern cyber threats.
  • Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and shell scripting.
  • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Basic understanding of APIs and experience working with them.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and best practices.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, particularly in detection engineering.
  • Understanding of attack frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) is a plus.
