We are seeking a Central Solutions Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience in financial services product management and marketing. The intern will support the Central Solutions team across various data, technology, administrative, research, marketing, and project tasks aimed at delivering tools that drive financial advisor growth efforts. Key takeaways from this role include learning about comprehensive financial planning, investing in global markets, and the strategic elements behind a successful advisory business. Additionally, the intern will assist with up-to-date data, research, and presentations that support team goals for delivering products and services that address advisor and client needs. This position is ideal for students aspiring to build a career in financial services product management and marketing.

Primary Job Functions

Product Management Support

  • Execute tasks related to the 2025 Productization Roadmap for Centralized Client Solutions
  • Research projects related to competitive positioning, pricing, and industry trends
  • Complete project work related to advisor adoption of Centralized Client Solutions

Salesforce Data Analysis

  • Provide ad hoc support for team data and segmentation needs
  • Helps provide valuable analysis to product and advisory teams
  • Learn to perform data segmentation and analysis to drive growth

Product Marketing

  • Learn the basics of product marketing and the RIA industry
  • Execute tasks as part of new collateral or product marketing asset creation and production
  • Support tasks related to product marketing content governance and updates
  • Create reports and presentations to summarize key findings
  • Support product launch roadmaps
  • Facilitate ad hoc product marketing support requests

Perform Operational Workflow Tasks

  • Perform audit projects seeking misalignments or inefficiencies
  • Coordinate cross-functional, database, or system change management projects

Education/Qualifications

  • Preferably Pursuing bachelor’s degree in finance, business, marketing, or related field
  • Preferably students between their junior and senior years
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and adaptable

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as: the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living and demand for the role in the applicable market. Thus, the entire salary range for those who are classified as the Intern level is $34,309 to $52,983.
