Job description

Our Corporate Sales team is seeking a highly driven, senior-level sales professional based in New York, NY to join our growing team. This role is responsible for driving new business by identifying strategic marketing opportunities and developing customized packages that deliver results for major brand partners and agencies within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities using data-driven prospecting tools.
  • Develop and sell integrated marketing solutions across the full suite of LEARFIELD assets, including IP, marketing rights, digital content, NIL, and signature assets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with national brands and agencies.
  • Negotiate and finalize business contracts while ensuring seamless execution and fulfillment in collaboration with the Partnership Management team.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and innovative solutions that drive measurable results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including regional and local multi-media rights properties.
  • Travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and foster key relationships.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of revenue-generating sales or business development experience in the sports and entertainment industry (college athletics preferred).
  • Proven success in both individual contributor and team-based sales roles.
  • Strong track record of selling digital and cross-platform marketing solutions.
  • Experience navigating complex, multi-tiered sales organizations, including large-scale field sales teams.
  • Ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies that enhance platform offerings.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.

Pay Transparency:

The approximate base pay range for this position is $170,000 to $260,000 plus commission. Please note that this range is a good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, as well as geographic location.
