WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a curious and motivated Sr. Solutions Consultant who wants to drive innovation in Customer Data Platforms (CDP), AI-driven customer engagement, and real-time data activation. As a Sr. Solutions Consultant, you will collaborate with Tealium’s Americas Sales Team to understand the customer’s challenges through joint discovery, create demonstrations and prototypes to showcase Tealium’s value to the customer and present those solutions to Enterprise Architects, line of business users, and the CxO suite. You will establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospective customers by proving how Tealium’s CDP can combine their digital investments in marketing, e-commerce, mobile applications, and other mission-critical assets with their crucial customer data, which will result in greater customer insights and faster time to innovation. Your expertise will directly impact Tealium’s success by driving new business, influencing product strategy through customer feedback, and strengthening our position as a market leader in CDPs and customer data orchestration.
Candidates in the Northeast region (New York, Chicago, Boston, Baltimore, Philadelphia, etc.) are highly preferred.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Engage and inspire customers by demonstrating how Tealium can transform their data strategy and drive measurable business outcomes
Lead discovery meetings to understand prospects’ marketing, customer engagement, and AI-driven personalization needs within a technical context
Provide advice and technical guidance to sales representatives, partners, and prospects
Create and deliver presentations, product demonstrations, and proof of concept exercises (PoCs) for prospects, customers, and partners, both on-site and remotely
Answer RFPs/RFIs articulating the value and technical merits of Tealium’s products and approach to addressing prospect needs
Lead architectural discussions to demonstrate how Tealium’s solutions integrate seamlessly into customers’ architectures, environments, and workflows—enabling AI-driven customer experiences and actionable insights
Keep up-to-date with the latest marketing technology trends, emerging platforms, and new features of existing tools
Contribute field knowledge and feedback to direct future product requirements/enhancements
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
7-10 years experience as a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant or similar role (Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Advisor, etc.) working with enterprise SaaS product(s)
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Curiosity and a desire to keep learning and growing professionally and personally
Passion for finding and articulating technical solutions to business problems
Ability to lead marketing process and technology discussions with business and technical audiences
Deep understanding of Marketing Technology (Martech), AI-powered personalization, and Digital Marketing workflows and architectures
Presentation skills and experience that demonstrate technical proficiency, business, and communication skills
Ability to understand and uncover customer requirements, identify business problems, and demonstrate proposed solutions
Ability to work closely with internal teams (sales, product management, engineering, customer success) to ensure client satisfaction and the successful delivery of solutions
Understanding of the sales process, cycles, and methodologies — including Value Selling and the Challenger Sale
Familiarity with AI/ML-driven marketing strategies, predictive insights, and the role of AI in Customer Data Platforms
WAGE TRANSPARENCY
In many U.S. states, employers are required to include a pay range for posted positions. Although this isn't a requirement in every state, communicating transparently is a cornerstone of our operations at Tealium, and we believe in making this information available to all applicants.
The U.S. pay range for this full-time position is listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for a robust benefits package that includes the following:
Employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus and stock options.
Employees and their families are eligible for medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
Employees have the option to enroll in our 401k plan and are eligible to receive contributions for company matching.
Employees are eligible for flexible paid time-off and extended paid parental leave.
We offer 11 paid holidays annually with an additional Healium Be-Well break for most employees.
We offer 15 hours of paid work time for volunteer activities and programs.
Our sick leave accrual is the following for our employees:
Exempt CA employees (not including San Francisco) including NY : accrue 40 hours each year. Unused sick leave carries over into the next year. Employees cannot exceed 80 hours in a given year.
Exempt Non - CA employees (not including NY) including SF: Accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Cannot exceed 180 hours in the calendar year.
Non-Exempt: accrue 1 hour every 30 hours worked. Unused carries over to the next year. Not to exceed 108 hours in a calendar year.

Compensation Range- $133,000 - $166,000 Base Salary, PLUS Commission Compensation, PLUS Stock Options
This position will earn commission on deals closed pursuant to Tealium’s commission policy, the details of which will be provided upon request.
