What You’ll Do

• Provide L2/L3 Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) for SAP FICO, troubleshooting incidents and handling service requests.
  
• Manage finance and controlling processes, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), and Controlling (CO-PA, CO-PC, CO-OM).
  
• Handle taxation, payment processing, bank reconciliation, and financial closing activities.
  
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP FICO and other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR).
  
• Support SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities, including New GL, Universal Journal (ACDOCA), and Profitability Analysis (COPA).
  
• Troubleshoot asset accounting, tax calculation, and foreign currency revaluation issues.
  
• Work with Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Treasury & Risk Management (TRM), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM).
  
• Support SAP FICO integration with external systems, including banks, third-party tax solutions, and payment gateways.
  
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and drive system optimizations and improvements.
  
• Collaborate with business users to enhance financial workflows and reporting.
  
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local statutory reporting requirements.
  
• Adhere to ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
  
• Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to finance teams.
  
• Communicate effectively with Portuguese-speaking stakeholders across LATAM, Europe, or other regions.
  

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of SAP experience, with at least 5 years in SAP FICO AMS support.
  
• Strong expertise in SAP FI (GL, AR, AP, AA) and CO (PA, PC, OM, CCA, PCA).
  
• Hands-on experience with financial closing, tax reporting, asset management, and bank reconciliation.
  
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Fiori-based financial applications.
  
• Knowledge of SAP integration tools (IDocs, BAPIs, BADI, ALE, SAP BTP Integration Suite).
  
• Familiarity with SAP FSCM, Treasury, Credit Management, and Revenue Recognition.
  
• Strong understanding of local taxation, e-invoicing, and compliance regulations in Portuguese-speaking countries.
  
• Experience using ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, etc.) for AMS support.
  
• Fluent in Portuguese and English (written and spoken).
