Job Title: Senior QA Tester

Location: Remote (LATAM)
Duration: 10 Weeks (Contract)

About the Project:

We are seeking experienced Senior QA Testers to join our team for a critical 10-week project. Our development team has completed initial testing of the new Orion version on PostgreSQL, transitioning from B-tree indexing. Given the application’s legacy Delphi code, we require thorough QA certification of the new database option to ensure stability, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate Orion’s functionality on PostgreSQL.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to identify and document defects.
Work closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure smooth transition from B-tree.
Validate data integrity, query performance, and compatibility within the legacy Delphi environment.
Provide detailed QA certification of the new database option, ensuring full compliance with business and performance requirements.
Proactively identify risks and recommend improvements to the QA strategy and test coverage.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in QA testing, with a focus on databases and legacy systems.
Expertise in PostgreSQL and database testing methodologies.
Experience working with Delphi applications is a strong plus.
Proven track record of working on fast-paced, deadline-driven projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams across US & LATAM.
