RevOps at Crunchbase

As the Revenue Operations Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable sales and GTM processes backed by data-driven insights. This individual will be skilled at uncovering hidden insights and translating those into actionable strategies. This role will encompass end-to-end process ownership, from sales funnel tracking to the optimization of operational metrics.  This role will collaborate cross-functionally to identify business priorities, allocate resources strategically, and accelerate growth supporting multiple functions within the Revenue organization.

What You’ll Do:

Sales Efficiency and Optimization:

    • Provide recommendations and take actions based on strategic objectives, forecasts, or performance metrics to improve sales efficiency by simplifying processes, evaluating new tools, allocating resources, and eliminating bottlenecks.
    • Continuously assess and refine revenue processes and policies including workflow collaboration between departments that implement transparency for deal desk operations and pricing to optimize deal outcomes. 
    • Partner with sales reps and marketing to refine lead qualification processes by analyzing and reporting on campaign performance.  Identify process improvement opportunities on lead routing, take action on implementing solutions and monitor for continued adherence.

Forecasting and Analytics:

    • Develop accurate forecasts planning for revenue, capacity and budget in partnership with Finance and GTM Leaders based on data-driven metrics and track key performance indicators.
    • Create dashboards to showcase insights and transparency at all levels for revenue teams and leadership.
    • Extract actionable insights from sales, marketing, and customer data to identify trends and opportunities throughout the customer lifecycle.

Technology Management:

    • Own the Tech Stack while proactively identifying and evaluating technology solutions to automate tasks, improve data accuracy, and facilitate collaboration cross-functionally.
    • Serve as the business architect and project manager for all Sales and GTM process design requests.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Team Oversight: Directly supervise a team to oversee their day-to-day activities and ensure alignment with company goals and standards.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback to foster professional development and high-quality work.
  • Hiring and Training: Play an active role in hiring new team members as needed. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Conflict Resolution: Act as a mediator in resolving any interpersonal or professional conflicts within the team, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively, including managing work schedules, balancing workloads, and ensuring the team has the necessary tools and information to perform their roles efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Expert-level experience overseeing GTM Tech Stack including CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation platforms, sales engagement tools, business intelligence platforms and data enrichment solutions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple channels for buy-in and solutions.
  • Robust understanding of analytics and proven ability to problem solve with a data driven mindset
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other data systems.
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic environment, excels in creative problem-solving, and demonstrates hands-on work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficient with Google Office Suite and other software tools.

Education and Experience:

  • 6+ years in revenue operations, sales operations or related field, preferably at a SaaS company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary Range
$146,396$172,230 USD
