Program Support Specialist, Program Operations  
Location: US Remote (Preferred: California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona)

We are seeking a Program Support Specialist for our Energy Efficiency division to evaluate and verify utility-sponsored projects in the West region. The Program Support Specialist will work with a cross-functional team of program management, finance, technical, and marketing personnel. You will be responsible for the preparation and submission of monthly invoices, report generation and reconciliation, and expense management. Additionally, you will liaise with Reporting, Finance, and Delivery teams, maintain organized records, and identify inefficiencies in the current invoice process to suggest improvements.

What you will be doing:

  • Preparation and submission of monthly invoices  
  • Report generation and reconciliation 
  • Expense management: Gather and review expense receipts, remove non-billable items 
  • Ensure expenses comply with billing guidelines 
  • Liaise with Reporting, Finance, and Delivery teams  
  • Maintain organized records, ensuring all documentation is clear and accessible 
  • Identify inefficiencies in the current invoicing process and suggest improvements to streamline operations 
  • Other duties as required to support our work nationally and provide direct support to division leadership as needed  

What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

  • BS/BA degree in Business, Economics, Energy, Information Technology or related discipline (candidates can substitute one year of experience for each year of education)  
  • 1+ years of experience supporting, developing, or administering successful demand side management programs and/or related experience 

What we would like you to have:

  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Excel including proficiency in advanced formulas, macros, power query and pivot tables 
  • Demonstrated experience working in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and PowerPoint

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$55,388.00 - $94,160.00
