Presentation Designer

Job purpose:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Presentation Designer with a strong background in corporate document layout and presentation design using InDesign. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging and visually appealing presentations that effectively communicate our annual results of the company's social responsibility program. This position requires a combination of technical expertise in InDesign, a strong eye for design, and the ability to present complex information in a clear, engaging, and professional manner.

Job details: 

• Location: 
  • 100% Remote – Temporary Contract (Approx. 1 Months) with Potential for Extension
  • Open to candidates based in Central America, Mexico, or Colombia.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CR Time Zone
• Job Type: Full-Time Employment (this is not a freelance position)
• Language Proficiency: Spanish: Native / English: B2+ reading, writing, and conversation
  
• Availability: Immediate availability preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop visually compelling presentations and corporate reports that align with branding guidelines and corporate identity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather content and understand key messages regarding the company's social responsibility initiatives.
• Utilize InDesign to create structured, print-ready, and digital layouts that ensure consistency and professionalism across all materials.
• Design and develop presentations that are visually appealing, cohesive, and aligned with our branding guidelines using InDesign.
• Develop presentation templates, reusable assets, and design guidelines to ensure efficiency and consistency in future projects.
• Utilize data visualization techniques to present statistics and results clearly and effectively.
  
• Ensure presentations are polished and ready for delivery by performing quality assurance checks on all design elements.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure all presentations and documents meet high visual and editorial standards before delivery.
• Stay updated on design trends and best practices to continuously enhance the effectiveness of presentations.

Required Academic Background:

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or related field, or equivalent experience as a creative director in advertising agencies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in presentation design, with a strong focus on corporate layouts, reports, and business communication materials using InDesign.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, with hands-on experience in creating structured, multi-page corporate reports and branded documents.
• Strong portfolio showcasing presentation designs, particularly in corporate, financial, or social responsibility contexts.
• Excellent visual storytelling skills, with the ability to present complex data and messages in a clear, engaging, and visually appealing way.
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), with a keen understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques to make reports more engaging and informative.
• Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Proven ability to work effectively in team settings, bringing a collaborative spirit and adaptability to fast-paced projects.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
  
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to layout, alignment, and brand consistency, ensuring polished, professional work.

• This role requires a native Spanish speaker with intermediate to advanced English proficiency (both written and verbal).
