This is a remote position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 10:00 AM Colorado Springs, CO time

Job Summary:

We require a highly motivated and results-oriented PHP developer to maintain and enhance our existing e-commerce website, which is built on the ZenCart platform. The ideal candidate has experience in maintaining a PHP-based e-commerce platform and has previously set up JavaScript-based event tracking that integrates with an external email marketing platform.

This role will initially be part-time, allowing us to assess the candidate's proficiency and efficiency before considering a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance our ZenCart-based e-commerce website.
Set up web hooks to sync real-time e-commerce data with Klaviyo.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code.
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
Implement new features and functionalities as required.
Work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
Provide regular updates on project progress.

Requirements

Proven experience with ZenCart or similar e-commerce platforms like Magento, OpenCart, osCommerce, and PrestaShop.
Strong understanding of web hooks and automations for email marketing.
Demonstrated ability to complete projects quickly and efficiently.
Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Ability to work independently and 1 manage time effectively.
Familiarity with JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Experience with other PHP frameworks.
