Key responsabilities:

Job description

This is a remote position.

Title: Full stack web developer

Location: 100% Remote

Contract: 12 months (ability to extend)

Full stack web developer on the Customer Experience web team. As part of a team of developers, will work in the customer service space to deliver new website functionality to customers within the service territory of PPL operating companies. Will also provide support of the self-serve websites for these operating companies. The candidate will be required to learn the accompanying business logic to interpret requirements and deliver production-worthy work.

Skillset 1: Legacy Skillset

C#, Angular, CSS, TypeScript, SQL, WEB API, and RESTful services experience is used to deliver new functionality and support existing functionality. Preferred experience with Sitecore CMS, ASP .NET, IIS, Azure DevOps Services CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Skillset 2: Modernization Skillset

C#, .NET Core, React, Redux, Node, CSS, TypeScript, SQL, WEB API, and RESTful services experience is used to deliver new functionality and support existing functionality. Preferred experience with containerizing applications using such technologies as Docker Desktop or Rancher Desktop, hosting applications in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Azure DevOps Services CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Daily responsibilities will include attending daily project and product meetings and completing user stories.

Weekly and monthly responsibilities include attending product backlog grooming sessions, retrospectives meetings, performing demos of completed user stories, assisting with the deployment of enhancements and bug fixes to the production website environment, as well as attending joint customer operation team meetings.
