Job Overview:

We seek an experienced Front-End Developer with expertise in Drupal and Acquia to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience building and optimizing web applications, with a strong focus on front-end development using Drupal CMS and Acquia Cloud platforms. The candidate should be proficient in modern web development technologies and passionate about creating high-quality, user-friendly interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain responsive front-end solutions using Drupal (preferably Drupal 8/9) and Acquia Cloud.
Collaborate with back-end developers, designers, and other team members to ensure seamless front-end and back-end functionalities integration.
Design and implement custom themes, templates, and components based on business requirements.
Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
Implement best practices for front-end development, including clean, maintainable code and reusable components.
Work with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes into code, ensuring high-quality visual and interactive elements.
Debug and resolve front-end issues, ensuring websites and applications are fully functional and bug-free.
Maintain and improve Acquia-based sites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and accessibility.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development, Drupal, and Acquia platforms.
Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices and helping the team grow.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in front-end development with a strong focus on Drupal (Drupal 8/9 preferred).
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Strong experience with theming and templating in Drupal, including Twig and PHP templating.
Expertise in Acquia Cloud solutions and integrations with Drupal.
Experience with responsive design and development, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
Understanding of RESTful services and API integration with Drupal.
Familiarity with Git version control and Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with headless Drupal or decoupled architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes in Acquia environments.
