We are pioneering play-for-fun sports gaming, offering a social sportsbook experience that features sweepstakes promotions and loyalty rewards. Our platform provides sports fans with fun, engaging, and free-to-play alternatives to traditional real-money gaming.

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Social Sportsbook team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing and automating our CI/CD pipelines, enhancing system observability, and supporting Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will work in parallel with existing infrastructure while helping build a new Kubernetes-based environment, collaborating closely with developers and technical operations teams.
What You’ll Do
CI/CD & Deployment Automation
Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments to AWS ECS clusters.
Work with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling.
Collaborate with developers to enhance deployment workflows and reduce manual interventions.

Infrastructure & Kubernetes Management
Create, administer, and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Work in parallel with existing infrastructure to transition towards Kubernetes-based solutions.
Define and improve DevOps standards and best practices, leveraging your expertise to guide decision-making.

Observability & Monitoring
Enhance and unify the observability stack, improving system monitoring, logging, and alerting.
Work with DataDog or Elastic Stack (ELK) to provide deep visibility into system performance.
Act as a bridge between developers and operations teams, helping them understand system internals.

Collaboration & Support
Work within a globally distributed team, contributing to a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Train and support engineers on DevOps best practices, tooling, and automation.

What We’re Looking For
Experience: 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in automation and cloud infrastructure.
Kubernetes & Containerization: 2+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
CI/CD Expertise: Strong understanding of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Observability & Monitoring: Proficiency with DataDog or ELK Stack for system monitoring and logging.
Version Control & Scripting: Familiarity with Git and experience with Python or Bash scripting.
Problem-Solving & Communication: Ability to guide developers, solve infrastructure challenges, and improve system reliability.
Mindset: Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bonus Points For
Experience with Ansible, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
Prior experience in iGaming or high-traffic web applications.
