Compliance Analyst – Operational HR Compliance (Solventum)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

The Compliance Analyst ensures that HR operations comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and industry standards. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating compliance risks, conducting audits, and maintaining policies that protect employee data integrity and privacy.

Key Responsibilities

Regulatory Monitoring:

  • Stay informed about global and local HR compliance requirements (e.g., data privacy laws, labor regulations).
  • Advise on policy updates and process changes needed to meet new regulations.

Data Audits:

  • Perform regular audits of HR data management practices to identify and address gaps.
  • Validate compliance with document retention policies and secure data handling standards.

Incident Management:

  • Investigate compliance violations and prepare detailed incident reports.
  • Recommend corrective actions and track their implementation.

Policy Development:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating HR compliance policies and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and Legal teams to ensure alignment with broader corporate policies.

Training & Support:

  • Provide guidance to HR and GBS staff on compliance requirements.
  • Develop training materials and deliver sessions on data privacy and compliance standards.

Reporting:

  • Track and report on compliance-related metrics (e.g., audit findings, policy adherence).
  • Prepare presentations and updates for leadership on compliance performance and risks.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 2–4 years in compliance, HR operations, or a similar role.
    • Familiarity with global data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and labor regulations.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and attention-to-detail capabilities.
    • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and training.
    • Proficiency in HRIS platforms like Workday is a plus.

  • Ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable policies.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Regulatory Updates: Proactive identification and implementation of changes for 100% alignment with evolving regulations.
  • Training Effectiveness: All relevant staff trained annually with >90% completion rates.
