This is a fully remote position that will travel within TX.
The Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Construction and Trades responsibility, with community employers who have opportunities to hire our students and graduates.
The Business Solutions Consultant will work with the Director of Career Services to determine placement services required by students and graduates and uncover the hiring needs of employers. This position will identify the optimal number of job leads and orders for graduate placement through employer cold calls, off-site employer meetings, and prospecting.
The Business Solutions Consultant will communicate daily with the Director of Career Services concerning business development and interview feedback. The Business Solutions Consultant will build and maintain sustainable and long-term relationships with local, regional, and national employers to increase employment opportunities for all campus graduates.
Job Requirements
Associate degree in business/sales-related field, or minimum 2-years comparable work experience.
The successful candidate must possess the ability and the willingness to work independently and act on their independent judgment. The candidate should be technically proficient in computer research and database management. Demonstrate an understanding of building relationships, networking, and community-based business development. Always focus on Customer service and student-oriented satisfaction.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Solid ability to prioritize and multi-task. Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrable creativity.
